What is a Multi-System Bar Prosthesis?
Multi-system bar-mounted implant prosthesis is a prosthetic system that can be inserted and removed by placing a special bar (metal support) on the implants placed in the jawbone. It provides a more stable and comfortable use compared to a mobile prosthesis.
In case of complete toothlessness, classical palate prostheses may not provide sufficient retention. The bar system allows the prosthesis to hold on to the implants more strongly, reducing the problem of slipping and playing.
If there is complete toothlessness in the lower or upper jaw
If knocking and sliding occur while using a moving prosthesis
If a more stable but removable solution is desired
If the bone volume is limited for a fixed bridge
Bone structure is evaluated, the number of implants is determined.
The required number of implants are placed and the healing process is expected.
A special metal bar system is prepared on the implants.
The prosthesis is fitted onto the rod, and its fit and retention are checked before delivery.
